"This book began the way most introvert projects do: slowly!
For years I carried comics in my head, but every time I tried to draw them, the page didn't match the picture in my mind. On November 10th 2020, I drew my very first comic. It wasn't perfect. It wasn't even close. But it was something... One drawing became another, and another, until there was a small pile of comics that felt like me. I then started sharing them online whenever I made them. In 2024 I decided to take drawing in general more seriously. I started learning figure drawing, going to life drawing sessions, and carving out ntime after work to practice. Then in 2025 I challenged myself to make my first comic book. The one you're reading right now! Here are 25 brand new two-page comics about introversion. Each one is a small scene about being a quiet person in a loud world. The way we overthink, the way we listen, the way we disappear to recharge, and then return. Some pages are jokes. Some are little sighs. Some are actually real things that happened to me... If you're an introvert, I hope you feel seen. If you're not, I hope you come away with understanding your introverts a little bit better. Either way, thank you for giving these small stories your attention.
