"The Book of Monsters" is a collection of 40 illustrations that chronicle the adventures of an anonymous explorer who embarks on a journey around the world, discovering myths and unusual creatures along the way. Through detailed observations of these encounters, the narrator offers readers a glimpse into the appearances, environments, and practices of these fantastical beings. Each illustration is accompanied by its own text, which is in both English and French. Some stories come with a bonus drawing : a detail, or a scene that struck our imaginary explorer.

It makes for a total of 40 detailed monsters' illustrations, bonus drawings, 40 texts in English and their French versions, and finally, at the end: the 14 original drawings from 2007 ! (see origin of the book below)

This book is, above all, the realization of a childhood dream. When I was 8 years old, I created a bestiary named "Malevolent Creatures." I've always kept them and enjoyed redrawing them every few years, dreaming of the day I could bring them together in a beautiful bound book. So, sixteen years later, with the addition of twenty-six new creatures, I am finally pleased to present this completed project !"
