***CANCELLED***Free Comic Book Day 2022: Kieron Gillen Signing

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Kieron has tested positive for covid (happily asymptomatic), so the signing is now CANCELLED. We apologise for any disappointment, but rest assured we're already working on a postponed appearance. The rest of our FCBD celebrations will continue as planned!

As a part of our Free Comic Day celebrations, the one and only Kieron Gillen will be here signing on Saturday 7th May from 1 - 2pm!

Dust off your Phonograms, unleash your Wicked + Divines, roll out your Dies and unbag your Immortal X-Mens as UK comics superstar Kieron Gillen joins us from 1pm - 2pm to meet you all, sign your comics, and just be the generally lovely fellow that he is. 

We've been fans of Kieron's since the Phonogram days, when he and Jamie McKelvie initiated a creative partnership that has seen them become two of the most in-demand creators in comics. As well as the best-selling The Wicked + The Divine (in collaboration with Jamie), Kieron has had hits with creator owned titles such as Die and Once and Future, and has extensive experience working within the Marvel universe. As well as previous stints on Uncanny X-Men and Thor, Kieron helped to redefine Loki in a manner that would eventually come to the MCU in the Loki TV series, and his and Jamie's Young Avengers breathed fresh life into a team of teen heroes that *gasp* actually felt like teens! 

Kieron has recently returned to Marvel's merry mutants with Immortal X-Men, one of the flagship titles of the new Krakoan Age (it's a whole thing). And if the sales and feedback we've seen on the series so far are any indication, it looks to be a very fruitful return indeed.

Kieron will be here to sign and chat on Saturday 7th May, 1-2pm. We're happy for you to bring your own items to be signed, but an item limit may be imposed on the day.

We would politely ask all attendees to wear a mask unless clinically exempt.
