Free Comic Book Day 2025 Rick and Morty Signing

Free Comic Book Day is here! On Saturday 3rd May 2025, we are happy to host another jam-packed day to celebrate. As part of our festivities, from 2pm we'll be running a signing panel for your favourite comic duo Rick and Morty! Two truly talented British cartoonists contribute to the comics of this franchise. Marc Ellerby, the Carl Barks of Rick and Morty comics, whose personal work with Ellerbisms and Chloe Noonan Monster Hunter put him on the UK small press map and Beck Kubrick whose small press titles like Don’t Worry I Die at the End, and Dead Girls have made a real impact here at the shop.

Free Comic Book Day will, of course, be a day to grab some comics released exclusively for the day. Much in the spirit of record store day, this is a great way to introduce new readers to the medium of comics and to bring existing fans something to enjoy! We'll be trying to reduce in-store congestion by distributing the comics in blind bags of 5, available free with a purchase.
