The Gosh! Authority 03.12.25
Hello!

Here we go!

We've got a couple of events to kick off December. First up on Thursday, 7-9pm, we'll have the folks from A Profound Waste Of Time (APWOT) here to celebrate the release of the latest issue. Details here.

Then on Friday, 6-7pm, Joe Latham returns to sign copies of the final volume of his wonderful kids gn series Haru! Get the details here.

And I'd be remiss not to give another plug to our Best of 2025 lists! Here's the adult. Here's the kids. Or you can jump to them all on our webstore by clicking here.
As usual, we'll also be operating with some slightly changed hours over the Christmas period, beginning on Wednesday 17th December. Altered hours are as follows:
| WEDNESDAY 17TH DECEMBER thru TUESDAY 23RD DECEMBER | 10.30am – 8.00pm |
| WEDNESDAY 24TH DECEMBER | 10.30am – 2.00pm |
| THURSDAY 25TH DECEMBER | CLOSED |
| FRIDAY 26TH DECEMBER | CLOSED |
| SATURDAY 27TH DECEMBER thru TUESDAY 30TH DECEMBER | 10.30am - 7.00pm |
| WEDNESDAY 31ST DECEMBER | 10.30am – 2.00pm |
| THURSDAY 1ST JANUARY | CLOSED |
| FRIDAY 2ND JANUARY onward | REGULAR HOURS RESUME |
Meanwhile, back in weekly new comics land, you might notice a number of (mainly Image, Oni and Titan) titles that have shipped in the States this week, but aren't here. Giant-Size Criminal is certainly the elephant in the room. Never fear, they're just delayed, and we should see them next week.
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

- ULTIMATE UNIVERSE TWO YEARS IN #1 - So how is the Ultimate Universe doing two years in? Given that Ultimate Endgame starts later this month, we can only assume not very well. We're jumping all over the Ultimate Universe to check on the state of play, and meeting some characters we've not seen before, all thanks to Alex Paknadel, Deniz Camp, Lee Ferguson, Francesco Manna, Pat Boutin, Javier Pulido, and Phil Noto!

- DOCTOR STRANGE #1 - After Doom finagled him out of the Sorcerer Supreme job on Earth, Stephen Strange set himself up as the head mystic of Asgard. But now Midgard has been cut off, he's stuck in the nine other realms, making his way the best he can, with new enemies, new allies, and lots of mead. Derek Landy and Ivan Fiorelli do the honours.

- HULK SMASH EVERYTHING #1 - The ever-popular Ryan North teams up with artist Vincenzo Carratù for a mini-series that leans into North's humorous talents. It's the Hulk vs everyone (and maybe everything....a tagline for issue 3 touts "The Hulk vs the Supermassive Black Hole at the Centre of Our Galaxy"). What are the limits of the Hulk's strength? A puny Banner question! HULK IS STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!

- DC K.O. SUPERMAN VS CAPTAIN ATOM #1 - The kick-off to what DC are billing "DC K.O. All Fight Month." I don't think you'd need to be a nuclear scientist to figure out what that means for this one-shot that sees Superman and Captain Atom meeting up. (The VS in the title probably also gives it away, rather). Joshua Williamson and Sean Izaakse bring the fisticuffs.

- DC'S I SAW MA HUNKEL KISSING SANTA CLAUS #1 - DC's annual festive anthology returns with the usual bumper edition of stories starring the heroes and villains of the DCU. Featuring the likes of Stargirl, Animal Man, Doctor Light, Harley Quinn and Galaxy.

- WICCAN WITCHES' ROAD #1 - Time to catch up with Wiccan and Hulkling, and Billy heads on down the Witches' Road (just like the tv show!) to find a way to heal a grievously wounded Teddy. Witchy hijinks from Wyatt Kennedy and Andy Pereira.
And that's it for another week. See you next time, when Santa is a mere two weeks(ish) away! How did that happen?
Andrew.
