Hello!

Our jam-packed November events line-up continues! First up, a signing with Christof Bogacs and Beck Kubrick, the a-grade collaborative team behind Rick & Morty Presents Finals Week and Meat4Burgers, will be here on Wednesday, 6-7pm! Details here.

Then immediately after that it's Reads, the graphic novel reading group! All are welcome from 7-9pm as the group discusses Zoe Thorogood's massive hit, It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth. Details here.

Then roll on Thursday, as our friends from Peow2 (publishers behind such hits as Frog in the Fall and Gleem) join us for party to meet their London fans and celebrate the release of A Garden of Spheres, the latest book from the super-talented Linnea Sterte! Linnea will also be here, so don't miss it! Details here.

And then next Monday we've got a post-Thought Bubble signing with Bim Eriksson for her new book Baby Blue! Details here.

And lastly, you may have been wondering where our Best of 2025 lists are, celebrating our favourite books for kids and adults from the past year. Well wonder no longer: they'll be announcing next week!
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

- DIE LOADED #1 - Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans are back for a new series, as one year on the game catches up with its survivors for another go-around. Honestly, the amount of terrible RPG and dice puns around coverage of this series is pretty embarrasing. Save for cringe, am I right? Oh...also, for the tabletop roleplaying curious, this week also sees the release of a very affordable comic-format quickstart booklet for the DIE RPG.

- HELLBOY & THE BPRD THE GHOST SHIPS OF LABRADOR #1 - Gosh! faves Rob Williams and Laurence Campbell reteam with Mike Mignola for a new spooky tale from the casebooks of the BPRD. An agent goes missing while investigating some coastal creepiness, with a town infested by nautical ghosts. There's something in the fog, Hellboy!

- YOUNGBLOOD MASS MARKET EDITION #1 - Initially self-released, Rob Liefeld's much-anticipated return to his 90's super-team, handling both the art and writing, gets a proper release at last! Get a blast of that 90's vibe as Youngblood heads out to sea to tackle a brand new menace.

- PREDATOR BADLANDS #1 - A prequel comic to the just-released film, with Ethan Sacks and Elvin Ching on creative duties. I just saw this at the weekend, and had a blast with it. Definitely not what you'd normally expect a Predator film to be (my 10yo loved it), but very entertaining.

- LIQUIDATOR #1 - Peter Milligan and Piotr Kowalski reteam for a new time-hopping series. Aubrey Street arrives in 1891 New York on the search for a feminist novel that won't actually be published until 1981. Bad news for her as she comes into contact with a rum chap called John Hawkesmore.

- AMERICAN CAPER #1 - Dan Houser, Lazlow and David Lapham present a crime thriller that speaks to the fractured, corrupt heart of the USA. With a cast including a Mormon hit-man and a Mexican beauty queen, it promises to be a sprawling, dark humoured slice of Americana.

- TMNT X GODZILLA #1 - Tim Seeley and Fero Peniche uncover the secret history of the Foot Clan, who were originally intended as some of of kaiju hit-squad. But they've lost their way, thanks to that darn Shredder!

- BATMAN STATIC BEYOND #1 - A future hero team-up courtesy of Evan Narcisse and Nikolas Draper-Ivey, where Old Man Static meets Terry McGinnis to take on a mysterious new villain. Is there any other type?
And that's your lot for another week, panel-fans!
Andrew.
