Then on Wednesday, 5-6.15pm, the mighty Joe Sacco will be here to sign copies of his latest title The Once and Future Riot! Joe is booked solid for this London visit, so make sure you get here on time as he'll be spirited away at 6.15 on the dot! Details here.

Then on Thursday, 7-9pm, Queer Youth Art Collective (QYAC) will be here to launch their new anthology I Can Draw Myself However I Want! It'll be quite the party, so come along! Details here.

Then on Friday we'll have James Tynion IV here from 5-7pm signing copies of Exquisite Corpses and his many other titles! Not only that, but James will also have Tiny Onion signing tour merch on sale as well! Details here.

We'll be announcing our Best Ofs later this week! Keep your eye out for announcements on Thursday!
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

- DC / MARVEL BATMAN DEADPOOL #1 - Grant Morrison returns to DC (and Marvel, I guess) with the lead story in DC's side of the latest intercompany crossover! He's teamed with Dan Mora for a Batman / Deadpool tale, with a terrific line-up of creators for the back-up stories featuring other DC/Marvel crossovers.

- SPAWN THE DARK AGES #1 - Easily overlooked, this Spawn spin-off is a real labour of love for writer/artist Liam Sharp. England is under seige by Saxons, Picts and Hibernians, and now its rulers must contend with a rising Celtic power from within: the Devil Spawn! Some of the good fantasy stuff from Sharp, Spawn comic or no!

- 2000AD ANNUAL 2026 HC - 2000AD keep those nostalgia-hitting hardcover annuals coming! Rob Williams, Maura McHugh, Joe Currie, T.C. Eglington, Staz Johnson, CROM and Jake Lynch all provide new stories while some selected classics from the likes of Steve Dillon and Colin MacNeil also feature.

- TREASURY OF BRITISH COMICS ANNUAL 2026 HC - Nobody leaves the Treasury of British Comics in the corner! They get a lovely hardcover too, showcasing the best of classic British comics from the likes of Jag, Smash!, Wildcat, Wham!, Valiant, Misty and Whizzer & Chips. Four new stories, and all. Cor blimey!

- X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE #1 - Following on from the Alpha issue, the X-Men of the Age of Apocalypse have come back to the present day. More mutant hijinks from Jeph Loeb and Simone Di Meo.

- NOVA CENTURION #1 - More like Nova: For Hire. Keeping a Xandarian Worldmind alive isn't cheap, so in the wake of Imperial, Richard Ryder is picking up odd jobs to keep the lights on. Sounds like a good opportunity to showcase the cosmic side of Marvel by Jed MacKay and Álvaro López.

- SPIDER-MAN HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR #1 - Christmas is coming, and so is the Marvel Christmas anthology! It's tales of the ho-ho-holidays with Spidey and pals from a host of Marvel's best creators. Phew...wonder how many times I'm going to pitch a variantion on that between here and Christmas (only about 5 1/2 weeks away as of this writing!)

- JOHN LE CARRE'S THE CIRCUS LOSING CONTROL #1 - Didn't see this coming: John Le Carre's version of the British secret service makes it way to comics, in the very capable hands of Matt Kindt & Ibrahim Moustafa. Anyone who's read Kindt's Mind MGMT will know how well suited he is to the spy game (though I assume there will be a little less psychic powers on show in this one.)

- CAPES #1 - A remastered version of Robert Kirkman and Mark Englert's Capes series, an Invincible spin-off from the early 2000's. With new art and dialogue, this is an overhaul aimed at new fans of Kirkman's seminal superhero series. Who would have ever thought Invincible would be a household name? Well, Robert Kirman in his wildest dreams, presumably!

- EROTECH #1 - An erotic satire from Darin S. Cape and Geoffrey Krawczyk, delving into the heart of the sex robot industry of the future. The highly dysfunctional heart, as it transpires, as CEO Samantha Jenkins tries to wrangle her team to ensure the Model 6000 is released on time. Also features a backup by Dean Haspiel!

- FINAL BOSS #1 - Tyler Kirkham indulges his love of the action stories of old in this new series starring....Tommy Brazen! Good name. Expect plenty of punching.
And that's it for another week! See you next time....4 1/2 weeks from Christmas!
