Our much-delayed signing with the one and only Brian Bolland is happening at last this Saturday, 1-2pm! Brian will be signing copies of the Diamond UK exclusive cover to the Killing Joke and Other Stories Gallery Edition, his only in-person signing for the book. You're welcome to bring other items along to sign, but we are imposing a 3-extra-item limit (on top of the Gallery Edition), as we expect it to be busy. Should be a good one! Details here.

Not much new stuff to write about this week, but don't be fooled, it's a pretty chunky one!

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

• ROCKETFELLERS #1 - The latest title from the Ghost Machine stable, written by the ever-underrated Peter J. Tomasi with art by Francis Manapul. The Rocketfellers are a dysfuctional family from the utopian 25th Century, sent to our time to protect them from forces that wish them harm. Why? Because apparently humanity's survival is in their hands, if they can get their act together to save it. Looking like a fun, character-driven book. 

• QUESTION ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER #1 - Renee Montoya is back! Alex Segura and Cian Tormey take Montoya from the streets of Gotham and give her a new beat: the JLA watchtower. Someone has to keep things in order and look after the security of the home base of the Earth's heroes.

• WHAT IF MINNIE MOUSE BECAME CAPTAIN MARVEL #1 - Not only that, but what if she specifically went through the events of Ms Marvel (1976) #1-4? Much the same but with more animal-people, I imagine. A pretty niche dive by Steve Behling, Luca Barbieri & Giada Perissinotto.

• BARSTOW #1 - Rebekah McKendry (co-host of the excellent Colours of the Dark podcast and a director in her own right) teams up with David Ian McKendry and Tyler Jenkins for a new horror series. An FBI agent on the trail of a missing colleague finds herself in Barstow: a mysterious town in the centre of the Mojave desert. But right from the get-go it becomes apparent that something's not right with this town, and she'll need to keep her wits about her if she's to survive it. 

• MILESTONE UNIVERSE THE SHADOW CABINET #1 - The return of another classic Milestone title, this time as a wrap-up to the story that began in Milestone Returns. Classic Milestone contributor Joseph Illidge teams up with artists Darryl Banks and Atagun Ilhan.

• IMBOKODO #1 - A slice of Afrofuturist sci-fantasy by South African creative team Thabo Rametsi, Thabiso Mabanna and Katlego Motaung. The Imbokodo are the greatest warriors in all Ndawo, summoned by their queen to protect their people after a series of violent kidnappings of village girls. Among them is a young woman who must prove her place among the Imbokodo and fight for a better world.

• TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES X NARUTO #1 - If I had a quid for every "did not see that coming" crossover involving the Turtles, I might be able to get a lunch from Pret. Here the boys lean on the "ninja" bit for a team up with manga mega-star Naruto, thanks to creators Caleb Goellne and Hendry Prasetya.
