HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • ALTAMONT HC - Herik Hanna and Charlie Adlard explore the tragedy of the Altamont music festival through the lens of a group of attendees undergoing their own personal journeys. As the excitement for headliners the Rolling Stones builds to a fever pitch and the ill-advised Hells Angels security detail unleash on the audience, the summer of love that began with Woodstock comes to a lethal end.

  • INGLORIOUS X-FORCE #1 - Cable is back at the helm of X-Force, returned from a trip to the future with missing memories and only scattered clues that indicate an upcoming disaster. He's joined by Hellverine, Archangel and Boom Boom as they try to foil an upcoming assassination. X-TREME!

  • ROGUE #1 - Wait...a Rogue solo series that's set in the present day? Nice one, sugah! So obviously Rogue hasn't always been the squeaky clean X-leader she is today. And when skeletons from the past inevitably come calling, a visit to Destiny and Mystique is in order. Erica Schultz and Luigi Zagaria take on ya'lls favourite Southern belle!

  • PSYLOCKE NINJA #1 - But never mind all that modern continuity! Journey back to a simpler time...well, maybe not that much simpler. Body-swapping Betsy is back! Tim Seeley and Nico Leon present a lost tale of the era when the Hand put Betsy's mind into the body of the assassin Kwannon.

  • DC K.O. GREEN LANTERN GALACTIC SLAM #1 - Jeremy Adams, Pat Boutin, and Cian Tormey bring Kyle Rayner into the cosmic fray for this one-shot. On his way to join the fight, Kyle finds himself enlisted into an intergalactic wrestling federation. Yes, you read that correctly. Omega Bam Man is back!

  • TOUCHED BY A DEMON #1 - Very happy to see Kristen Gudsnuk back! Tired of Hell, a demon plots to earn his way back into Heaven by becoming a life coach here on Earth. He figures that if he can lift enough mortal souls out of misery and despair, then he might be welcomed back. But, y'know, he's a demon. What kind of life coach advice is he gonna give? 

  • BLOODLAND #1 - B. Clay Moore and Mack Chater tell an outlandish, could-never-happen tale of a US president who uses all the powers at his disposal to remain in power. Imagine! Also, he's made a pact with a European vampire sect to help him, which is a bit daft. Make a deal with Europeans? Ridiculous. Anyway, an army veteran and an ex star quarterback make a stand. But are they enough?
