The Gosh! Authority 25.03.26
Hello!

This Thursday, 7-9pm, Alex Potts will be here to celebrate the release of his new graphic novel from Avery Hill, Was That Normal. Alex is a lovely fella, and his work is fantastic, so get yourself down and grab a copy. Details here.
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

- DC / MARVEL: SUPERMAN / SPIDER-MAN #1 - Time to cross over the big guns! DC gets first turn this time around, with Marvel's Spider-Man / Superman one-shot to follow. Mark Waid and Jorge Jimenez handle the lead story, with backups from the likes of Tom King, Matt Fraction, Sean Murphy, Gail Simone, Christopher Priest, Greg Rucka, Jeff Lemire, Jim Lee, Steve Lieber, Belen Ortega, Daniel Sampere, Nicola Scott and Rafa Sandoval. Looks pretty decent for an inter-company crossover!

- BUTCH: A HATE COMIC #1 - Buddy Bradley's younger brother is back, and it looks like he's heading to the big house. But some attention from the far right propels him to political stardom, and a slot on the Ameri-Con convention stage. Peter Bagge returns with his trademark mix of absurdist slapstick and satirical spite.

- FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST FOES #1 - Following on from the First Steps one-shot, this is the first of a series of one-shots masquerading as comics from the universe of the recent FF film (authorised by the Future Foundation!) It's the MCU FF vs the Mad Thinker, as the devious genius tries to turn the citizens of Manhattan against the first family. Dan Slott and Mark Buckingham bring a little star power to proceedings.

- HONOR & CURSE: ETERNAL #1 - A ninja is cursed, joined with a tengu (a malevolent spirit) and given immortality. 600 years later he's managed to control the demon within, but when his descendents are kidnapped he must reckon with his curse once again if he's to have the power to save them. Mark London and Jaime Infante are the creators behind this one.
Okay, I'm off to Malta for Easter, so Greg will be editing and adding to my hastily prepared drafts for the next two weeks! See ya later!
Andrew.
