And in case you missed it, we announced our Best of 2025 lists last week. Here's the adult. Here's the kids. Or you can jump to them all on our webstore by clicking here.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • BATMAN / GREEN ARROW / THE QUESTION: ARCADIA #1 - Gabriel Hardman writes and draws this Black Label team-up book that almost feels like it's some kind of lost late-80s book. Hardman is obviously taking a lot from Longbow Hunters and the Andy Helfer Shadow comics here, with a hard-boiled political edge. Green Arrow and the Question are investigating a secret program being run by Oliver's former company, when they run head-on into Batman. Stern chats ensue.

  • DAREDEVIL / PUNISHER: THE DEVIL'S TRIGGER #1 - The original NYC odd couple return in a mini by Jimmy Palmiotti and Tommaso Bianchi. It's a flashback to the heyday of their rivalry as they each bring their conflicting style to tackling the latest excesses of the Gnucci crime family.

  • GALACTIC #1 - A new DSTLRY series by Curt Pires and Amilcar Pinna, leaning into the joy of sweary, ultraviolent space opera. A bounty hunter and his talking dog sidekick are on the trail of a wayward princess, when they all get caught up in a war they want no part of. Too bad. And not a great way to start a budding romance.

  • INFERNAL HULK #1 - The Incredible Hulk gets rather more sinister as Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein continue their run with Bruce Banner and his alter ego. But what's the Elder going to get up to now he has control of the Hulk's body? Nothing good, I'll tell you that.

  • BRZRKR THE BLEEDING TIDE #1 - Keanu Reeves is still working hard at expanding the universe of BRZRKR, with a recently-published novel co-written with China Mieville, and now this new one-shot written with Marjorie Liu featuring art by Garry Brown. Raised from the bottom of the sea by a mysterious captain with dark secrets of her own, B. must fight to defend the crew of her vessel while trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

    • LION KING #1 - Edwin Galmon spins all new tales of the Lion King, set before the death of Mufasa (spoilers!), as he and the young Simba roam the African savannah learning about the symbiotic way of nature (RED IN TOOTH AND CLAW!!!)

    • DEVIL ON MY SHOULDER #1 - A dark slice of revenge horror by Kyle Starks and Piotr Kowalski. Tee has been tortured and left for dead by five men. But she's not dead, and those men are going to suffer for what they did to her in this four-issue mini with a supernatural twist.

And that's it again for another week! See you next time, true believers!

      Andrew.
