LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

"This is a hand-drawn black and white comic using dip pen and ink. The Bible says: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” This work tells the story of my dormitory life and troublesome neighbors when I was studying abroad. We never really knew each other, but I seemed to know them better than anyone else. They are like the other side of me that I aspire to be, an outgoing, passionate version of myself. What I want to convey through this comic is that everyone is actually the same. When you learn to tolerate others and love everyone, you also learn how to love yourself. And loving yourself is the true meaning of the universe."
