A1 Deadline Signing With Ilya, Roger Langridge, Alison Sampson and Kek-W

A1 and DEADLINE, two landmark UK comic book publications ARE BACK! These classic UK Alternative comics publications return with both original and all new creators. Gosh! are honored to welcome Dave Elliot, Alison Sampson, Kek-W, ILYA, and Roger Langridge to the shop on Saturday 18th July 2026 at 1pm for a signing of the new edition. We’ll also have some exclusive Shaky Kane signed prints available.

Created by 2000AD artists Brett Ewins and Steve Dillon, Deadline featured a mix of comic strips and written articles aimed at adult readers. Deadline sat at the forefront of the wave of British comics anthologies for mature audiences that included Crisis, Revolver and Toxic!, and had a cultural influence beyond the comics world, most notably via its breakout star Tank Girl. A1 was a graphic novel anthology series published by Atomeka Press in 1989 by Garry Leach and Dave Elliott. Now after 30 years Deadline returns combined with A1 to showcase a host of exciting new strips.
