Drink and Draw with goblintoad and WeiJia Wu

Stir those cauldrons! Ready your spells! And don those robes! It's time for our Halloween edition of Drink and Draw! Join us on Friday 30th October 2026, from 6.30pm.

Our resident cartoonist Mark Stafford is out trick or treating tonight, but he still had time to draw us this fantastic poster! Thanks Mark. We've invited two guest artists to host the evening of drawing with us on this spooky edition of Drink and Draw, goblintoad and WeiJia Wu! We can't wait to see you all and have some fun drawing together.

So, what is a Drink and Draw? Well, it's in the name! We'll host an evening of drawing with our guest comic artists, all while having a few drinks together, alcholic and non alcholic. Mark Stafford, our resident cartoonist, will be a regular face at the monthly event, being joined by two guest artists every time. We'll meet at Gosh! for 6.30pm, where they'll be a chance to mingle with the artists and check out their comics, before we head over to The Royal George for 7pm. Once everyone has grabbed a seat and a drink, we'll start three short rounds of drawing, with each guest artist setting their own drawing theme. Gosh! will have the artists work on sale and even have some prizes for their favourite drawings! We will aim to wrap up by 9.30pm, but staying afterwards to continue the fun is more than welcome.

Broken Frontier and ourselves have been running the Drink & Draws since 2015 and we've been lucky enough to have had over 200 guest artists attend! It will be hosted by Broken Frontier's wonderful Andy Oliver and Gosh's Will Humberstone.

Look forward to seeing you all on Friday 30th October, from 6.30pm. There will be limited seating available at the Royal George and seating will be prioritised to those who were at the shop first.

Keep up to date with any updates over on our Facebook event page.
