Gosh x ARC x Broken Frontier Present Drink and Draw With Niall Breen, Matt Seneca and Mark Stafford

Sharpen your pencils and order a round! Drink and Draw is in session! We've got a special additional Drink & Draw this month to celebrate the small press festival ARC's innaugural show! ARC is a comics festival based in Peckham, with the fair taking place on Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July (with events also taking place the days prior). In partnership with Broken Frontier and ARC, we've invited three guest artists who will be attending the fair over the weekend to join us on Friday 10th July 2026, from 6.30pm for an evening of socialising and drawing to get us ready for the exciting event over the weekend.

Arc is a festival of contemporary comics in South East London, taking place over four days in July, showcasing some of the best independent comics, graphic novels, sequential art and form-altering visual narrative. The festival will launch with an exhibition and talks, before culminating in a comics fair over 2 days, featuring a curated line up of over 100 UK based and international artists and publishers.

We welcome artists Niall Breen and Matt Seneca, along with our cartoonist in residence Mark Stafford to join us on the Friday before the weekend fair. The three will be tabling at ARC over the weekend along with an incredible line-up of fantastic artists.

So, what is a Drink and Draw? Well, it's in the name! We'll host an evening of drawing with our guest comic artists, all while having a few drinks together, alcholic and non alcholic. Mark Stafford, our resident cartoonist, will be a regular face at the monthly event, being joined by two guest artists every time. We'll meet at Gosh! for 6.30pm, where they'll be a chance to mingle with the artists and check out their comics, before we head over to The Royal George for 7pm. Once everyone has grabbed a seat and a drink, we'll start three short rounds of drawing, with each guest artist setting their own drawing theme. Gosh! will have the artists work on sale and even have some prizes for their favourite drawings! We will aim to wrap up by 9.30pm, but staying afterwards to continue the fun is more than welcome.

Broken Frontier and ourselves have been running the Drink & Draws since 2015 and we've been lucky enough to have had over 200 guest artists attend! It will be hosted by Broken Frontier's wonderful Andy Oliver and Gosh's Will Humberstone.

Look forward to seeing you all on Friday 10th July, from 6.30pm. There will be limited seating available at the Royal George and seating will be prioritised to those who were at the shop first. Drink and Draw will return at its usual end of the month slot on Friday 31st July 2026.
