Reads - Small Press Show & Tell 2026

Reads, our very own monthly comics reading group, returns on Wendesday 9th September 2026 from 7-9pm. We're still buzzing after our incredibly successful small press festival last weekend, Gosh!Fest, and were overjoyed with all of the amazing comics that were on offer throughout the day. 

For our reading group this month, we're doing a small press show and tell, where you can share with the group your favourite comics that you picked up during the festival or any recent small press titles that you've grabbed from our shelves. There was so much on offer that it would be simply impossible to have read it all, so we're incredibly excited to hear about your favourites!

If you don't already know, we've been running a comics reading group for some time now. Once a month on a Wednesday evening, the shop closes its doors and welcomes the reading group in for an evening discussion of one of our favourite comic books. Reads is free to attend and welcome to all! You simply need to turn up on the night. The reading group are a friendly bunch and always welcome new members.
