The Gosh! Authority 03.06.26

Hello!

anxietyland-600.jpg

This Thursday, 6-7pm, Gemma Correll will be in-store signing copies of Anxietyland, her incredibly popular, very funny memoir about her struggles with her mental health. Details here.

We've had two amazing print releases this past week:

First up, we've worked with Rebellion and Brian Bolland on a beautiful reproduction of a classic Judge Anderson & Judge Death image. Brian has signed all 300 copies, and they're going fast. Get yours here!

But wait, there's more! We've also released our latest 40th Anniversary print, showcasing the brilliant work of CROM as he illustrates the Danse Macabre. It's a delightful rattle of skeltons put down in moody, playful black and white. Get a copy while you can

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • THE DEADMAN #1 - Well here's a happy thing! W. Maxwell Prince and Martín Morazzo, fresh off the brilliant Superman Kryptonite Spectrum, are back to take on one of DCs most endearingly weird superheroes. Boston Brand takes a trip through the bodies of the DCU in a series of tales that lean heavily into the kind weird, quirky horror that this creative team is so good at.

  • SUPERGIRL: SURVIVE #1 - An Elseworlds tale starring Kara Zor-El, whose typical teenage life on the planet Krypton is suddenly thrown into chaos when she is launched into space with her baby cousin Joe-El as the planet self-destructs. Ethan S. Parker, Griffin Sheridan and Rod Reis chart the story of what might have been had Kara left Krypton at the same time as Jor-El.

  • JUNK PUNCH #1 - Paul Tobin and Carlos Olivares bring all of their storytelling skills to the table with this nuanced, dramatically deep tale of a young woman possessed of an irresistable compulsion to punch people in their junk. But one woman's curse is another's blessing, as she uses her powers for good.

  • JUSTICE LEAGUE DREAM GIRLS A DC PRIDE EVENT #1 - Spinning out of the Justice League Intergalactic Special, Dreamer and Galaxy find themselves caught up in a strangely idyllic new life on Themyscira. A weekly mini for Pride month from Nicole Maines, Jadzia Axelrod, Nicola Scott, J. Bone, Ted Brandt & Ro Stein, with a Batman backup by Greg Rucka and Claire Roe.

  • WHAT IF UNCANNY X-MEN #1 - Gerry Duggan and Jan Bazaldua ask the question, What If Cyclops had stayed with Madelyne Pryor? Well, given how she wound up, probably nothing good I would expect.

  • THE RING: THE MAN WHO BEAT THE MAN #1 - Not on my bingo card for this year: Gail Simone and Elisa Romboli, in collaboration with Boxing magazine The Ring, launch a series which covers some of the most dramatic stories in the history of boxing.

  • ONLY THE SAVAGE ARE LEFT #1 - In a violent future where most people have been turned into monsters, with killing the only cure for their condition, a young man tries to stay true to his values while searching for his true love.  An apocalyptic love story by Zack Kaplan and Stefano Raffaele.

  • JUST SPECTACULAR COLLECTION #1 - One for the J. Scott Campbell fans. A collection of variant covers by the man himself, with behind the scenes reflections and sketches.

And that's it!

Andrew.
