The Gosh! Authority 06.06.20

Hey folks!

Another fairly quick missive this week, as I'm sneaking off while the rest of the family are busy with a round of Mario Party. The Gosh blog: brought to you by brief stolen moments of the weekend!

First up, and most importantly, there is a new shipment of product coming next Wednesday! As I've mentioned before, we've cut our extras on most titles to the absolute minimum (a byproduct of not actually being able to sell them off a shelf), so please do get in touch with any titles you would like set aside as soon as possible. If they're already on your standing order, we've got you covered, so just send us a list of anything extra you would like. There may be sellouts, but I'll do my best to get anything we can't supply immediately back in ASAP.

If you'd like a mail order, that too can be arranged! Just drop us an email and we'll sort out getting an invoice to you. However, there might be significant delays with that this week as we will be in full swing with our reopening preparations in the latter part of the week.

Yes, that's right, we will be reopening on the 15th June, following all the guidance we have been given by both government and retail sector sources. I'll announce the full details next week, but what I can tell you now is that we will be opening with slightly reduced hours - 10.30am-5pm, seven days - and that there will be limits on the number of people allowed in the store at any given time. We're operating with a skeleton staff, so as always I would ask your patience with regard to correspondence, orders and so on.

And lastly, you may have heard the news that DC have made the decision to sever ties with Diamond, the main periodical comics distributor. We're still sifting through what it means for future DC supply, but rest assured we will sort something out, and we will continue carrying DC product. More details on how that might affect things (shipping delays, prices, etc) as we figure it out.
