Hello!

We had a couple of exciting events announced this week, in case you missed them! We'll have the father / son team of Sean and Jacob Phillips here on Saturday 1st July, 1-2pm, to celebrate the release of Night Fever, their new collaboration with Ed Brubaker. Get the details here.

And also we announced a signing with the ever-popular Tula Lotay for the launch of her new art book Shadow Self! Tula will be here on Tuesday 28th February, 6-7pm, and you can get the details for that one here

PSA: this week sees the release of Swamp Thing Green Hell #2, 12 months past due! Cor blimey, guv!

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • NIGHTCRAWLERS #1 - Ten years into the future, and Sinister needs a cabal of assassins to get his dirty work done. His solution? Genetically modified Nightcrawler hybrids, led by the vicious Wagnerine. The Sins of Sinister continue, courtesy of Si Spurrier and Paco Medina!

  • LAST BARBARIANS #1 - A new fantasy series from Brian Haberlin. A young adventurer can't get guild membership, locking her out from most available jobs. To bring home the bacon for her and her disabled brother she is forced to take a shady quest from an equally shady cleric. Getting some Fafhrd & Grey Mouser vibes from this one.

  • MARVELS VOICES WAKANDA FOREVER #1 - The Marvels Voices initiative brings a focused eye on the inhabitants of Wakanda, with short stories by up and coming black writers and artists (including, rather excitingly, Juni Ba).

  • ICON VS HARDWARE #1 - Hardware is on a mission through time, trying to right all the wrongs of the past. But Icon has lived through all of these eras, and knows what damage can be wrought with reckless attempts to change history. Reginald Hudlin, Leon Chills, Yasmin Flores Montanez & Denys Cowan pitch the two Milestone heavyweights against each other.

  • TORRENT #1 - What does it take to push the happy-go-lucky, wisecracking superhero too far? Marc Guggenheim & Justin Greenwood are going to answer that question for you as happy-go-lucky, wisecracking superhero Crackerjack faces a tragedy that changes the whole game.

And that's it, friends!

Andrew.
