The Gosh! Authority 19.08.20

Hey folks!

So it's a good news week for everyone that's been waiting for the Image (and a couple of Boom) books from the 15th of last month: those suckers are all shipping next week, with a double-dose on many as the latest issue comes out as well. Have a look at the In Store blog post for details.

Quick tiptoe through the tulips of the week's highlights as I'm a little short on time this week!

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • RAIDERS TP - Bit of an odd one to highlight now given that it came out about a month ago, but we've only really just received stock, and Crom has done us a lovely window painting this past week, so what the heck. Anyway, it's great to have a chance to plug this excellent fantasy OGN by Crom and writer Daniel Freedman, and there are still signed copies to be had via our webstore: https://goshlondon.com/raiders-gn/

  • TAMMY & JINTY SPECIAL 2020 - The classic girls weeklies are back for another one-shot revival, with all-new stories by  Ramsey Hassan, Rachael Smith, Yishan Li & Elkys Nova!

  • MAESTRO #1 (OF 5) - Peter David, German Peralta & Dale Keown at last tell the origin of the Maestro, the tyrannical future hulk from the classic Future Imperfect storyline.

  • ENGINEWARD #1 - An intriguing looking new science fiction series from George Mann & Joe Eisma set in a far-flung future where humanity is ruled by brutal, all-powerful beings called Celestials.

  • DARK KNIGHTS DEATH METAL GUIDEBOOK #1 - A one-shot exploring the various factions and twisted rulers of the world of Death Metal!

  • LORDS OF EMPYRE SWORDSMAN #1 - A one-shot focusing on the resurrected Swordsman and Quoi, by the creative team of Alex Paknadel (who did a great job on the Celestial Messiah one-shot) & Thomas Nachlik.

  • SHADOW SERVICE #1 - Vault are bringing the goods this week. This new series envisions a British secret service devoted to combating dark forces in the criminal underworld: MI666.

  • VOYAGE TO THE STARS #1 (OF 4) - James Asmus & Connie Daidone adapt the hit sci-fi comedy podcast into a fun-looking comics romp.

And that's your lot, friends! See you next week.

Andrew.
