The Gosh! Authority 20.05.26
Hello!

No events this week, but just a reminder that with next week's bank holiday the comics will be arriving on the Wednesday to go out the same day. Courier willing, we'd hope to get them on the shelves for lunchtime.
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

- ABSOLUTE GREEN ARROW #1 - Pornsak Pichetshote & Rafael Albuquerque go down the superhero horror route, as Dinah Lance investigates a spate of killings by a mysterious archer. Oliver Queen is dead, but somebody has taken up the late billionaire's cause, killing those rich enough to think they're above the law.

- OF THE EARTH #1 - Charlie Adlard teams up with Chris Condon for a new eco-horror. A young woman returns to her childhood home to escape a life that was leading nowhere. But the small Texan town of solitude has changed in ways she can't quite put her finger on, and there's something strange about her grandmother...

- ODIN #1 - A promising-looking horror tale from James Tynion IV, Marguerite Bennett & Letizia Cadonici. A reporter imbeds herself with a group of neo-Nazis who are travelling to Norway with the intention of summoning Odin to bring about a new age of white domination. But what they get is something altogether more hostile and horrific.

- ULTIMATE IMPACT REBORN #1 - Miles Morales is back from the Ultimate Universe with the origin boxes in hand. But somehow word has gotten out about their ability to grant superpowers, and a battle for them is about to engulf the 616 universe. That's what Chris Condon and Stefano Caselli are telling me, anyway, and who am I to say otherwise?

- ZORRO #1 - Howard Chaykin and Jorge Fornés sound like a pretty damn fine team to launch a Zorro book, so I think I'll be checking out this latest incarnation of the pulp hero. This time around Don Diego de la Vega finds himself going head-to-head with the forces of Napolean Bonaparte. Not sure how that happens, but I guess I need to read it to find out!

- SEVEN WIVES #1 - Detectives investigate a murder within a fundamentalist Mormon community in this thriller by Zoe Tunnell, V. Gagnon and Tesslyn Bergin-Dicoi.
And that's it for another week! Be here next week when we say "Adios, May, and hello (gulp) June!"
Where does the time go?
