HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

• BATMAN BAD SEEDS - SUNSET #1 - Kicking off the latest Bat-crossover! Matt Fraction, G. Willow Wilson and Giuseppe Camuncoli bring the plans of Mayor Pamela Isley and Commissioner Vandal Savage to boiling point, and Gotham City is going to pay the price!

• BLACK TOWER THE RAVEN CONSPIRACY #1 - A great pedigree on the latest Vertigo title as Ram V. and Mike Perkins bring their talents to this supernatural spy thriller. Slow Horses meets Hellblazer, as the governmental organization known as Black Tower works against the magical threats that bubble under the surface of British society.

• HAMMERFIST #1 - A new one from Rick Remender and Steve Epting, where a deadbeat dad who's made all the wrong choices gets one more chance to make things right. Even if that chance involves taking up an ancient weapon powered by love to battle against a looming evil that threatens to consume the world in darkness. Sometimes you've just gotta step up!

• NEXT LEVEL ONE SHOT #1 - Deadshot gets a little time in the sun in this standalone story by Gerry Duggan and Fernando Blanco. While he's on a job that goes terribly wrong, he uncovers information that will set the stage for the next year's Next Level stories.

• TOMB OF APOCALYPSE #1 - The spirit of Apocalypse manipulates Wolverine and Jubilee into delving into his tomb, but what could his nefarious purpose be? I mean, I'm assuming it's nefarious, right? He's a bad guy again, isn't he? Anyway, Ashley Allen and Domenico Carbone are on this one.

• ROM SPECIAL #1 - A reprint of the former MASK #1 blind bag exclusive, Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici introduce the fan favourite character into the Energon Universe. Look for more appearances in upcoming Void Rivals issues.
