This Thursday evening, 7-9pm, we have Lucie Arnoux in store for the launch of her new comic, Je Ne Sais Quoi, from Jonathan Cape! The book is an account of her time living in London in pursuit of a career in drawing, depicting an outsider's struggles and delights in experiencing a city she falls in love with. Get all the details here.

Then on Saturday evening we have Ben Wheatley and Joe Currie here to celebrate the release of Kosmik Musik, a crazy new sci-fi comic done in collaboration with musical group BEAK>. The comic comes in a deluxe edition slipcase with a CD of the soundtrack, and is not to be missed! Details here.

Public service announcement: this week sees the release of the much anticipated final issue of Catwoman Lonely City, one of our favourite books of the year.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

• DAMN THEM ALL #1 - Si Spurrier and Charlie Adlard launch their all-new creator-owned title starring Ellie "Bloody El" Hawthorne, an occultist with a bad attitude and a claw hammer, on the trail of 72 demons escaped from hell. Looks like a lot of fun, and the first 30 copies sold come with an exclusive signed bookplate (see above)! You can pre-order it here right now!

• RIDDLER YEAR ONE #1 - Paul Dano, the Riddler himself (as portrayed in Matt Reeves' The Batman), turns his hand to comics, teaming up with artist Stevan Subic for this prequel to the film. Learn the origins of Edward Nashton, the man who would become The Riddler! Subic is one of the artists who has worked on the Glenat Conan adaptations, so I'm expecting this to be a good looking book.

• BATMAN GOTHAM KNIGHTS GILDED CITY #1 - Then it's back to a Gotham City of another kind for this tale set in the world of the upcoming Gotham Knights game. It features two storylines, one set in the present day and the other set in 1847. Evan Narcisse and the artist known as Abel handle this one.

• PUNCHLINE THE GOTHAM GAME #1 - Then it's back to a Gotham City of another kind (the real kind?) in this new miniseries starring the Joker's ex. Fresh out of prison, Punchline is determined to make her way to the top of the criminal food chain courtesy of Tini Howard, Blake Howard & Gleb Melnikov.

• NIGHTFALL DOUBLE FEATURE #1 - A 65 page double feature of horror stories in this new anthology series from Vault featuring two serialized tales. Autumnal, The Plot and Resonant creators Tim Daniel, David Andry, Daniel Kraus, Maan House & Chris Shehan are on this one.

• LOVESICK #1 - A delve into human darkness by Luana Vecchio, the creator of Bolero. Definite shades of Red Room to this, as a dark web Mistress carries out streaming executions at the request of her clients. On her tail are a group of internet vigilantes who see her as the devil incarnate.

• AMERICAN JESUS REVELATION #1 - The concluding arc of Mark Millar & Peter Gross's saga of the second coming of Christ is here at last. Satan is in the White House and the Final Battle is upon us!
