Hello!

Happy to report that the double-launch for Ferry Gouw's Limbo and CROM's Bleed Ink is coming this Thursday, 7-9pm!

After being postponed last month, the books are all now in hand and we're ready and rearing to go. Details for Ferry here, and for CROM here.

And then on Saturday we've got Fredde Lanka here to celebrate the collected edition of his bitingly hilarious queer comedy that's a bit too NSFW for me to send the full poster and description out to this many work emails! Curious? Then get the details and (and excellent poster) here.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • 100 BULLETS THE U.S. OF ANGER #1 - Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso are back with an all-new 100 Bullets story arc as a part of the Vertigo relaunch. Following the events of his last mini-series, Lono has returned to the U.S., and he's intent on helping the country sell its soul. Presented in lovely black & white, which is the best way to see Risso's art in my opinion!

  • SHAOLIN COWBOY STAYING A.I.LIVE #1 - Speaking of the return of amazing artists, Geoff Darrow is back with the post-apocalyptic madness that is Shaolin Cowboy. When he hits the small town of Amerigunn, the Shaolin Cowboy's immigration status is called into question. Could deportation be on the cards? Y'know...I think there might be a political message of some kind or other going on here...

  • CHALLENGES OF DOOM MR FANTASTIC #1 - A series of bimonthly one-shots looking at the great rivalries that have stood as barriers to Doom achieving the true greatness that is his destiny. First up, we look back to Doom's early years opposite that arrogant dolt Reed Richards! Al Ewing and Mike Henderson tell a familiar tale in a fresh way. The Doom way!

  • STARHENGE BOOK TWO A KISS FOR ATTICUS #1 - Been a while, but Liam Sharpe is back with the second arc of his sci-fi fantasy epic. Rejoin Amber, Daryl and Merlin as they find themselves in strange captivity, stranded in different worlds with no memory of who they are or how they got there.

    • BEAST OF BORIKEN #1 - Julio Anta and Daniel Irizarri bring the myth of the Chupacabra to modern day Puerto Rico as a part of the Tiny Onion True Weird line. When supernatural forces interrupt a ground-breaking ceremony  at a new development, activist Loli Flores discovers that she may have a new, unexpected ally in the fight for her country's future.

    • LAST STARFIGHTER #1 - Deric Hughes, Ben Raab and Willi Roberts pick up from the end credits of the 1984 film. He's defeated the immediate threat, but now Alex Rogan must rebuild the Star League to fight the ongoing war.

      • DOGSITTER #1 - A romantic comedy from Jamie S. Rich and Megan Levens, which is notable in itself. You don't see many romantic comedy comics these days! Anyway, a dogsitter, a dog mum, and a hunky dude are caught in a love triangle. Oh shih tzu!

      • WHAT IF SECRET WARS #1 - Alex Paknadel and CAFU ask the question, What If Peter Parker wound up in the Ultimate Universe after the Secret Wars destroyed his Earth? What if, eh? What if?

      • MARVEL SWIMSUIT SPECIAL BRAND NEW BEACH DAY #1 - Yep!

And with that bikini bombshell, see you next week!
