The Gosh! Authority 28.10.26

Hello! Still writing to you from the past to make sure you've got the scoop. Meanwhile, in the present day my Australian jaunt is approaching its end, and I'm clinging desperately to each day as it slips by, a 25 hour journey looming for the weekend ahead...

Anyway! Happy Halloween!

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

  • BATMAN BAD SEEDS GOTHAM GENERAL #1 - This one beats out some pretty stiff competition for the top spot this week by virtue of its writer. Greg Rucka returns to the emergency services of Gotham, this time joining the men and women of Gotham General as they deal with the fallout from the Bad Seeds event. Rucka is joined by artist Rosa Ekedal for this 2-issue mini.

  • BATMAN BAD SEEDS SUNRISE #1 - Speaking of Bad Seeds, here's the wrap-up! The whole Bat-family mobilise to stop Ivy before dawn brings the total destruction of Gotham. Matt Fraction and G. Willow Wilson are joined by artist Giuseppe Camuncoli for the big finale!

  • DC ALL IN SAGA DARKSEID VS THE WORLD #1 - Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson continue their Darkseid saga with this one-shot that follows from the end of DC K.O., with art by Sanford Greene and Yasmine Putri. Learn the secret history of Prince Uxas, the man who would become Darkseid!

  • JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK REALM SPECIAL #1 - Dan Mora writes and draws this one-shot that delves into the origins of JLU fire-breathing wolf-dude Cadejos. Seems like the Justice League Dark are needed again as forces from other dimensions push into ours. Well..theirs. No fire-breathing wolf-dudes in my dimension.

  • UNIVERSAL MONSTERS BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN LIVES #1 - Frankenstein had his mini, now it's time for The Bride! Follow along with Kelly Thompson and Mattia De Iulis as the recently animated Bride asks the eternal question: what's it all about, man?

  • SUPERMAN THE WEDDING ALBUM 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL #1 - Jon Kent plans an anniversary party for his folks in this one-shot anthology celebrating 30 years of wedded bliss! Creators include Karl Kesel, Louise Jones Simonson, Rainbow Rowell, Dan Jurgens, Tom Grummett, Jerry Ordway, Jon Bogdanove and Cian Tormey.

  • FILTHY LAMBS #1 - A corrupted family in the thrall of their demon patron is at the heart of this tale by Pallie Paul Allor and Chris Evenhuis. A failed sacrifice brings their contract into question. Something must be done before all their souls are forfeit!

And that's me done from the land of pavlova, flat whites, and other things they stole from New Zealand and passed off as their own. Next week I'll be back in Blighty for some good old fashioned commuter hell! See you then!

    Andrew.
